Kyoei Steel notified on Friday users of 65,000 yen per tonne of official concrete reinforcing steel bar price at all plants for June order. The Japan’s largest rebar maker keeps output reduction in line with the demand.
Kyoei Steel has been targeted 65,000 yen per tonne of rebar selling price but the market price is decreasing after Japanese long holidays in early May. The firm failed to realize 65,000 yen of rebar price impacting the monthly results. Ferrous scrap cost keeps high with small fluctuation since the beginning of the year. The firm expects higher cost due to limited power supply. The firm tries to realize 65,000 yen per tonne of rebar price for June order to cover higher cost.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
