Sankiblast to Start Production at Thai Magnesium Die Cast JV

Osaka headed magnesium die casting maker, Sankiblast starts production at Sanki Eastern (SE), a joint company with Eastern Polymer Industry (EPI), Thai largest resin manufacturer. SE will start machine finishing of magnesium products in late April and commercial production of magnesium die casting components for digital steel cameras and home information appliances in July. SE also plant to list its stocks on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2016.

SE is located in Saha Rattana Nakorn industrial estate, Ayutthaya Province with 2,500 square meters of the site, ten CNC machines and four die casting machines.

SE will start machine finishing of semi-finished magnesium parts for home information appliances sent from Sankiblast’s another subsidiary in Shizuoka, Japan in late April. SE also starts to provide samples of magnesium die casting components to Japanese users in Thailand and Southeast Asia and projects to start the commercial production in July.

After the stock listing scheduled in 2016, SE plans to raise money from the market in order to introduce large-size die casting machines for automotive components.
