Flat Ferrous Scrap Price in Tokyo, Osaka

Ferrous scrap market price is flat in Tokyo and Osaka. The price is around 24,500 yen per tonne for H2 grade, around 26,300 yen for H1 grade and around 28,000 yen for HS grade around Tokyo. The price is around 24,000 yen for H2 grade around Osaka. The market is watching results of joint export tender held by Kanto Tetsugen on Wednesday.

Electric furnace steel makers pay 33,000-34,000 yen per tonne for H2 grade around Tokyo. The makers pay 33,500-35,000 yen around Osaka. Tokyo Steel Manufacturing reduced the scrap purchase price by 500 yen on Tuesday. Most of other makers around Tokyo keep the purchase price. Some of other makers around Osaka reduced the purchase price.
