Tokyo Steel Manufacturing will increase hot rolled coil output by 67% or 20,000 tonnes to 50,000 tonnes at Tahara plant in March from February. The output will hit the record since the plant started the operation in November 2009.
Tokyo Steel’s total steel output was 220,000 tonnes in February in line with the demand. The output was 35,000 tonnes for plate, 70,000 tonnes for H-beam and 90,000 tonnes for hot coil including 30,000 tonnes at Tahara plant. The total output will increase to 250,000 tonnes in March. The hot coil output will increase to 120,000 tonnes including 50,000 tonnes at Tahara plant while the output of H-beam and plate will keep same volume as February level.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
