Japanese major industrial waste recycler, Takeei announced on Monday the firm signed agreement to support Shizuoka based scrap dealer, Kanayama, which filed for court protection under the civil rehabilitation act on the day. Takeei will acquire all of newly issued shares by Kanayama after the authority approves the reorganization plan. Takeei will control Kanayama to expand the business.
Kanayama trades ferrous scrap, nonferrous scrap and scrapped automobile mainly in Shizuoka. Takeei expects higher profit to cover high-valued metal recycling business and to cover part of cost for existing business. Takeei has no business site around middle of Japan. The firm plans to utilize Kanayama as hub to trade recycling items when Kanayama is located in less than 200 kilometers from affiliates in Tokyo and Nagano.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
