Dowa Holdings announced on Thursday the firm’s metal processing subsidiary, Dowa Metaltech decided to establish first Chinese plating plant in Jiangsu province. The plant will launch operation in March 2013.
Dowa Metaltech supplies plated products from 3 bases including in Saitama of Japan, Thailand and China. The firm eyes sales expansion in Asia in combination of rolled copper plant in Shanghai. The firm will build the plant in Nantong. The firm selected the city due to easy access to rail, port and airport and the location in 120 kilometers north-north west away from Shanghai.
