Mitsubishi Materials announced on Friday the firm’s subsidiary, Diamet, establishes a subsidiary to produce sintered parts in Foshan City of Guangdong Province, China in January 2012. Diamet is Mitsubishi Materials’ group company to produce sintered parts mainly for automotive parts. Diamet’s operation has been in Japan and Malaysia. Mitsubishi Materials and Diamet decided to expand offshore operation in China where the large demand growth is expected.
The new company will be established with capital fund of 56 million RMB (approximately 700 million yen) wholly invested by Diamet. The employee number is scheduled at 80 people as of January 2013.M | T | W | T | F | S | S |
