Anshan Iron & Steel Increases Hot Rolled Export Price by US$ 25 to Japan in Oct

Anshan Iron & Steel increased export price of hot rolled coil by US$ 25 to C&F US$ 800 to Japan in October shipping, according to concerned party. The firm increases the sales price slightly for Chinese market and is expected to increase the export price for improvement of the profit..

The firm decreased the export price by US$ 10 to US$ 775 to Japan in September for shipping when the firm adjusted price difference against Tokyo Steel Manufacturing, Japanese major electric furnace maker.

However, the market price rebounded slightly in this month when Chinese demand is expected to increase by construction of housing for low-income person and public works for railway and river development. Consequently, Baoshan Iron & Steel and Wuhan Iron & Steel increased the sales price to domestic market in September shipping.

Anshan Iron & Steel announced the price hike up by 80-100 yuan per tonne for hot rolled coil and 120 yuan for cold rolled coil to business partner. As for price hike to japan, the firm judged Japanese users’ load is narrow by high yen rate if Anshan Iron & Steel increases export price to Japan.

Anshan Iron & Steel’s export price to Japan in November shipping is attracted attention when Tokyo Steel decreased the sales price of hot rolled coil by 2,000 yen per tonne for September sales.
