Japan Construction Material & Housing Equipment Industries Federation Reduced to Output VOC by 23.3% in fiscal 2004

Japan Construction Material & Housing Equipment Industries Federation jointed such as Japanese sash makers is advancing the action plan that it reduces to output the volatile organic compounds. It decreased to 6,151 tonnes by 23.3% in fiscal 2004 at the ended of March from at 8,020 tonnes in fiscal 2000. The federation aim to reduce it by 60% in fiscal 2010.Each federation belong to Ministry of Economy, Trade ad Industry (METI) achieved to reduce it by 26% in fiscal 2004. They will reduce it by 39% in fiscal 2010.Japan Construction Material & Housing Equipment Industries Federation set the target which exceeds the average of other federation, and aim to reduce it by 50% in fiscal 2008 as mid-term target.
