Ferrous scrap purchasing price of local electric furnaces steel manufactures is around 21,500-22,500 yen per tonne for H2, and high price is around 23,500 yen. Arrival of makers remains favorably. Some dealers are increasing inventries because the price is expected to react after Chinese New Year. Export price in Tokyo bay area starts to improve, and dealers are taking a cautious attitude.
