Flat the Market Price of STK

The market price of carbon steel tubes for general structural purposes (STK) is flat. The movement of products is not active and the market is quiet. The price is around 103,000 yen per tone for the products with STK400 (48.6×2.3 millimeters width).Since it is a non-demand term for STK in February, the volume of sale is low level. Each distributor is reducing the amount of applications for makers because there is little demand. Therefore, makers are obliged to decrease in production and capacity operating rate of manufacture line at each maker is getting worse.In these circumstances, asked price by users is becoming severe gradually. However, selling posture by each maker is not changing and distributors also have kept a strong attitude for selling. They have avoided the low price order. The price is likely to keep the present price for a while.
