Japan Ferroalloy Import Price Continues to Decrease

The averaged price of imported ferroalloy decreased in February in Japan, according to Ministry of Finance. The price declined though which seemed to hit the bottom and rebound at the end of 2005 and the foreign exchange rate of yen maintains weak against US dollar. The prices of vanadium and molybdenum also fell down in January and February though which had kept the high level. Silicon manganese price has fluctuated every month since last October and it fell down in February again. Coke price rebounded slightly by the correction of the low price, though the price was weak under the easy supply.
