Flat Colored Galvanizing Steel Price around Tokyo

Market price of colored galvanizing flat steel is flat at 184,000 yen per tonne for large coil and at 205,000 yen for small coil with 0.35 millimeters thick around Tokyo. The price could increase after the price hike by a major maker. Yodoko will increase the selling price by 10,000 yen per tonne for distributors for July shipment to improve the profitability under surging cost for zinc and aluminium. Other makers are likely to follow the move. Yodoko said the firm could increase the price again depending on the prices of raw materials. Distributors should pass the wide cost price hike on the reselling price for the customers. However, their price increase effort could take long time to be accepted by users when their shipment is still slow though the demand was expected to improve in mid-May.
