JFE Steel agreed with Hyundai Hysco to increase the hot rolled coil price to FOB US$ 450 per tonne for April-June shipment. The price increased by more than US$ 30. They agreed to increase the price step by step to US$ 465 for June shipment. JFE will decide the export price for July-September after analysis of market condition including price actions by Chinese and South Korean makers. The firm tries to increase the export price to more than US$ 500 under the improving supply balance and market price in Asia.
