Tokai Aluminum Foil announced on Friday the firm raises its selling price for plain aluminium foil by more than 80 yen per kilogram for shipment on and after July 1. The firm already raised the price by 60 yen per kg for shipment on and after April 1.The selling price of plain foil is not linked to the price fluctuation of primary aluminium ingot. Tokai Aluminum Foil decided the price hike when the firm could not absorb the impact of surging aluminium ingot price by its own cost cut efforts inside the company.
