Tokyo based metal scrap dealer, Taiwa Trade won ferrous scrap export contract at FAS 26,200 yen per tonne for H2 grade at the export tender held by scrap dealers’ association in Osaka on Monday. The firm ships around 5,000 tonnes of scrap in July. Scrap export price was 26,500 yen per tonne for the top bid and 26,350 yen for the second bid at the export tender held by another Osaka based scrap dealers’ association on May 25. The total scrap export shipping reaches 14,000 tonnes including 9,000 tonnes of contact on May 25. The higher export shipping could make local supply tighter especially for heavy grade scrap.
