Japanese galvanizing steel output decreased by 2.1% to 13.415 million tonnes in fiscal 2005 ended March 2006 from fiscal 2004, according to Japan Iron and Steel Federation. The output decreased widely for galvanizing steel, colored galvanizing steel, colored hot-dip galvanizing steel and colored hot dip 5% aluminium galvanizing steel. The export decreased by 7.1% to 2.102 million tonnes for hot-dip galvanizing steel, by 14% to 1.647 million tonnes for electro galvanizing steel and by 29.1% to 32,492 tonnes for colored galvanizing steel.
