Japanese aluminium foil output improves when the demand recovers for condenser. The aluminium foil demand could increase in fiscal 2006 ending March 2007 from fiscal 2005 for the first time in 4 years though Japan Aluminium Association expects the demand decreases to 134,500 tonnes in fiscal 2006. The demand shows recover apparently for information technology industry after long lasting adjustment. The condenser demand, which is the largest application for aluminium foil, keeps firm. The demand is expected to increase in fiscal 2006 from fiscal 2005 after increase in fiscal 2005. The medical and chemical demand is also firm. Japanese aluminium foil output increased for 6 months in a row through May. The electric machinery demand is expected to lift the total output though the demand for daily necessities keeps decreasing. The aluminium foil demand has decreased due to lower demand for food and daily necessities along with lower export. However, the demand increases slightly when the demand recovers for information technology industry.
