Steel sheet price is flat in Tokyo. The market price is 65,000-67,000 yen per tonne for hot-rolled steel sheet, 75,000-77,000 yen per tonne for pickled steel sheet and 80,000-81,000 yen per tonne for cold-rolled steel sheet.The demand for automobile is continuing to be good, which for construction is recovering. However, the market is unclarity in the whole that there is factor the influence of the purchase integration by large contract users. Many dealers said that their shipping is low.The hot rolled, cold rolled and coated sheet steel inventory held by makers, distributors and coil centers decreased slightly to 4.05 million tonnes at the end of July, impacted to distributors’ sales mentality that they expected the supply and demand becomes tight.Japanese integrated steel makers are examining to reduce the accepted order in October-December, and think to collect the supply and demand markedly. But, they are seemed to be wait and see situation because there is not material for the market price rising.One coil center said that the supply and demand is not bad, but there is no other positive factor. The market price is expected to keeps flat at the moment.
