Firm Colored Galvanizing Steel Price in Tokyo

Colored galvanizing steel price is firm at 194,000 yen per tonne for large coil and 215,000 yen for small coil with 0.35 millimeters thick around Tokyo. The makers are likely to postpone the price hike though they considered additional hike after October. The makers increased the selling price by more than 10,000 yen per tonne for July shipment to cover higher cost for zinc and aluminium. The makers said they would hike additionally to cover higher cost fully. The makers considered additional hike after October when the raw materials cost keep high even after the previous hike. However, distributors just covered the higher cost price in September. The makers try to find the timing for additional hike after November depending on the demand condition.
