Ferrous Scrap Price Closes to 30,000 Y/T around Tokyo

It sounds like the purchase price of ferrous scrap by electric furnace makers achieve at 30,000 yen per tonne in actual price around Tokyo. Utsunomiya factory of Tokyo Steel Manufacturing raised the purchase price to 30000 yen per tonne for H2 grade in Thursday, and was higher-record. There is possible that the purchase price by each maker more rise with increased production of them.Utsunomiya factory raised the purchase price by 500 yen for all item to 30,000 yen for H2, 31000 yen for new cutting grade and 23,500 yen for steel turning scrap.Some electric furnace makers increased the purchase price. The purchase price by electric furnace makers in Tokyo increased to around 28,000-29,000 yen per tonne by over 2,000 yen for H2 in this month. The scrap export FAS price from Tokyo bay is rising. Each maker is actively purchasing ferrous scrap. In recently, integrated steel makers are aggressively purchasing the ferrous scrap. Ferrous scrap market price is expected to rise around Tokyo.
