Ferrous scrap price is flat at 21,500 yen per tonne for H2, 23,800 yen for H1 and 25,500 yen for HS at dealers’ purchase price including freight around Tokyo. Some of local electric furnace steel makers decreased the scrap purchase price. They pay around 28,500 yen per tonne. The price decreases after the increase since mid-August. Kanto Tetsugen holds export tender on Wednesday. The export price from Tokyo bay was flat at FAS 27,500 yen per tonne since mid-September. Market sources said the price could indicate the market price.
