H-beam price is strong at 75,000 yen per tonne for base size with 200 by 100 millimeters width without freight around Tokyo. Japanese major business house, Hanwa announced the firm would raise the selling price by 2,000 yen per tonne on and after October 20. Most of the trading houses are seeking the price hike currently and up mood spreads in the market.H-beam will arrive at distributors within October of which Nippon Steel raised the selling price by 2,000 yen per tonne. The business houses tried to raise their selling price by 1,000 yen per tonne from the ended of September. However, the market price did not rise due to inactive shipment from dealers.The trading houses aim to achieve 2,000 yen of hike within October. Distributors would also follow the price up trend, while they kept wait-and-see stances so far. On the other hand, processing fee for steel frame, using H-beam, still stays low. The processing fee could not be pushed up by only 2,000 yen of hike by H-beam makers and traders.
