Ferrous scrap price is flat at 21,500 yen per tonne for H2, 23,800 yen for H1 and 25,500 yen for HS grade at dealers’ purchase price including freight around Tokyo. The price is expected to keep the level with balanced supply. Local electric furnace steel makers pay 28,000-29,000 yen per tonne for H2. They keep the price after the slight reduction in October. They secure scrap to meet the consumption under slower export shipping from Tokyo bay. Ferrous scrap price is also flat at around 17,000 yen per tonne for H2 around Osaka.
