H-beam price is firm at 75,000 yen per tonne for base size with 200 by 100 millimeters width around Tokyo. The market mood is getting firm after Nippon Steel announced supply cut for November order. However, some interests see the price is not likely to increase toward year end and new year holiday. The price is expected to keep firm despite of some concern. The demand is firm for smaller distributors in the month while the whole sale dealers’ sales are slow. The users shift to smaller distributors when the whole sellers try to increase the selling price before smaller distributors. The demand seems to shift to smaller dealers. With the higher demand, smaller distributors try to increase the reselling price now. However, the actual demand is flat in the market. The price move depends on actual demand in December.
