Mitsui Mining & Smelting announced on Thursday the firm raised official zinc ingot price by 13,000 yen to 502,000 yen per tonne for domestic shipment in January. The price recovered to over 500,000 yen when overseas zinc market rebounded and foreign exchange rate of yen became weaker against US dollar. The monthly average upped to 505,500 yen.
