Higher Japan Cold Rolled Stainless Import

Japanese stainless cold rolled flat steel import increased to 8,631 tonnes in January. The import volume started to increase since the bottom in July though the import decreased temporally in November. The largest import source was South Korea followed by Taiwan and Sweden. The import increases despite of the high price under record nickel price when Japanese stainless makers reduce the supply for distributors and increase the export.
