Kobe Steel announced on Tuesday the firm got order of the aluminium bumper system using electro-magnetic formed aluminium stay for Nissan Motor’s “SKYLINE.” The bumper system was put into commercial use for the first time. Kobe Steel tries to get another order to Nissan’s other models and other automakers for the bumper system and to sell 15,000 sets of the system per month in fiscal 2007 starting April, while the firm currently produces the bumper system at 7,000 sets per month.
