Mitsubishi Materials announced on Thursday the firm decreased official lead ingot price by 12,000 yen to 237,000 yen per tonne for domestic shipment in January, when lead price declined by about 6% from the beginning of this month at overseas. The monthly averaged price downed to 239,500 yen.Lead spot price at London Metal Exchange rebounded by US$ 29 to US$ 1,625 per tonne at settlement on Wednesday from Tuesday. However, the price decreased by US$ 100 from US$ 1,725 on January 2 to follow the plunge of copper price.
