Flat Colored Galvanizing Flat Steel in Tokyo

Colored galvanizing flat steel price is flat at 204,000 yen per tonne for large coil and 230,000 yen for small coil with 0.35 millimeters thick around Tokyo. The market already absorbed the makers hike for shipment from October to January 2007. The distributors’ shipment is slow due to off season for building. The market price could keep the level when the makers are likely not to increase the price immediately.The demand for building is still slower though it is better than a year earlier with higher stock level and slow demand in heavy snow. The makers couldn’t increase the price for April and they try to find the timing in and after July. They could take time to increase the contract price for users under slow demand. Zinc ingot price increases again despite of the lower level than the peak in November 2006. The makers try to find the way to cover fluctuation of zinc ingot price smoothly through the surcharge or new price mechanism.
