Metal One to Expand Business in Growing Countries

Metal One Corporation tries to expand the business in BRICs and VISTA, which includes Vietnam, Indonesia, South Africa, Turkey and Argentina, in and after fiscal 2007 started April. The firm studies to build coil center for automotive flat steel in India while the firm starts domestic steel trading business in Vietnam. The firm seeks higher growth through expansion in business in high rate growing countries. The firm tries to improve the profitability for Brazilian business including flat rolled steel processing plant. The firm expands the automotive flat steel supply to transplant of Japanese automakers through tie-up with Mitsubishi Corporation and USIMINAS. The firm increases steel supply for Indian automobile industry when the firm expects the industry needs more high valued flat steel for export grade automobile output. The firm also follows the higher demand for special steel and fasteners. The firm will expand the Russian business mainly for energy industry and Japanese transplant of automakers and construction machinery. The firm also expands energy related business in Turkey.
