Japanese major steel maker, JFE Steel and South Korean re-rolling makers such as Hyundai Hysco almost achieved the agreement for hot rolled steel coil price to rise by US$ 10 to about FOB US$ 530 for the shipment in July-September from April-June. The amount of the steel coil seems to be same level to South Korea from JFE Steel.JFE Steel offered to rise by US$ 30 for the improvement against international price and tighter supply of hot coil. South Korean re-roller showed resistance due to slower cold rolled steel sheet market price in South Korean.However, the supply and demand for hot coil is expected to continue tight situation in near future. JFE Steel has no produce. They considered their confidential relationship and stable supply came to a compromise.
