Mitsubishi Materials announced on Thursday the firm raised the official lead ingot price by 20,000 yen to 352,000 yen per tonne for domestic shipment in June. The price exceeded the record marked on June 15 thanks to the upsurge of overseas lead market. The monthly average became to 335,500 yen.Lead spot price at London Metal Exchange jumped up by US$ 77 to record US$ 2,477 per tonne at settlement on Wednesday from previous day. LME lead price increased when the world supply maintains tight due to Chinese export regulation. The upsurge of LME copper price also supported the lead market.
