Steel Center, Honda Motor group’s major steel sheet processor, started commercial operation of new plant, Wuhan Excellent Steel Center（ＷＥＳＣ）, in Wuhan, China.WESC has one slitter which can process at 4,320 tonnes per month for the size with 0.4-6.0 millimeters thick and 400-600 millimeters width, one scare shearing which can cut until 10 millimeters thick and with 25-2000 millimeters width, and one tailored welded blank machine which can process at 70,000 sheets per month for the size with 0.6-3.2 millimeters thick.
