Tokyo Steel Manufacturing, Japanese biggest electric furnace maker, exported H-beam to Russia in July shipping for the first time. The firm exported 3,000 tonnes of SS 400 grade products at over FOB US$ 600 per tonne. The firm has been exported rebar steel, angle steel and channel steel to Russia. Russia is advancing the infrastructure construction actively. The order from Russia is continuing to the firm. As for the export market, Chinese market price is jumping back. The firm aims a contract at FOB US$ 650 per tonne for H-beam, FOB US$ 600 for hot rolled coil and FOB US$ 700 for plate. The firm tries to increase the by US$ 20% from previous month when the demand keeps firm in Russia and South East Asia, and is increasing dollar-based price for the response of the currency exchange movement.
