Angle steel market price is flat at 75,000-77,000 yen per tonne for product with 6 millimeters thick and 50 mm width and channel price is 81,000-83,000 yen for product with 5 mm thick, 50 by 100 width around Tokyo. Dealers’ inventory products price is increasing for mainly base size which is earlier shipping when they are getting high priced arrivals from makers which makers increased the selling price by 5,000 yen per tonne.Dealers’ profit is being pressured when they can’t raise re-selling price due to demand slump. Dealer source said the influence by the confusion of building certification is larger than foreseen.
