Secondary Al Alloy Price to Increase around Nagoya

Secondary aluminium alloy makers’ ingot selling price is strong at 301-306 yen per kilogram for AD12.1 grade of small lot shipment around Nagoya. Local alloy makers are offering price hike to the users including die casting makers by more than 10 yen per kg for February shipment. Die casting makers are showing disapprovals due to their worse profitability with higher fuel costs. The price seems to increase but the hike range is unforeseeable.Primary aluminium at London Metal Exchange stays at over US$ 3,000 per tonne. Following the upsurge of overseas aluminium market, domestic market price of primary aluminium ingot is increasing to around 340 yen per kg. Material coats for secondary aluminium alloy is totally increasing such for silicon, magnesium, copper and fuels.
