H-beam market price is strong at around 107,000 yen per tonne at dealers’ site without freight around Tokyo. The price is expected to rise when major steel makers such as Tokyo Steel Manufacturing raised selling price. Material price keeps strong tone. Ferrous scrap purchasing price by electric furnace makers increased to the middle of 50,000 yen per tonne. The price is expected to keep high thanks to strong international demand for such as South Korea or China. Dealers’ inventory is reducing. Dealers are held back from response for order. Dealers can’t have all size products, which check and see to other dealers. Some dealers forecast the demand would rebound in near future when new privately-owned housing units started is increasing by degree. However, there is some case that client call off building construction project due to rising steel products price. The demand is uncertainly.
