Nippon Steel started quarterly hot rolled coil export price negotiations with buyers in counties of Association of Southeast Asian Nations for July-September shipment. The firm also keeps negotiating with South Korean rerollers since early May and the users resist the wide hike. The firm said Nippon Steel tries to realize wide hike when some ASEAN buyers submit bid with more than US$ 1,000 per tonne. The firm indicates the firm could reduce the export volume to South Korean rerollers with the tight supply ability.
