Aluminium scrap market price is flat at 263-268 yen per kilogram for new cutting scrap and at 177-182 yen for turning alloy scrap around Tokyo. The local supply could get easier due to slowing secondary alloyed aluminium output while international ingot price recovered US$ 2,900 per tonne last week. Japanese alloyed aluminium makers agreed with scrap dealers to keep the scrap purchase price for first half of June while the price was expected to decrease. Japanese primary ingot price increased by 8 yen to more than 320 yen per kg from last week due to higher international market. The higher primary price supported the scrap price.
